Off-White Witch – Halloween 2024

So no more Orange. Which means more Black and dark stuff, yay!

You’d think it’d be great having your own creepy castle and lots of spooky stuff, right? Well yes, but heating all those drafty corridors…a lot of wandering travellers and local peasants need to be sacrificed to keep the insulation wards in place.

This is my private Adult-Rated Homestead. There’s a Tavern with some prop market stalls separated from my (barely-furnished) Castle by a small strip of woodland. The place is a little barren, but do have a wander if you want. Please be nice and you won’t be one of the sacrifices.

Orange Witch Overload – Halloweeen 2024

Halloween is my favourite celebration of the year. However it can be a bit overwhelming with the Orange! You can never have too much Black, but during Halloween season the combination really does get a bit tiresome by the time the 31st actually comes along. I thought I’d do this post and then exclude Orange from the blog for a while.

Jailed Juice – Halloween 2024

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetl- … nah maybe that’s not such a good Idea, best leave her there!

Note: I’m wearing Got The Juice on LaraX, but the leggings and boots are for Legacy, also GenX & Reborn sizes included. It’s a pretty good match except for a tiny clip at the back. Both the S&P set and the leggings have texture change HUDs.

The Freebie Daemon – Halloween 2024

Following on from my Freebie Witch, I’m continuing the theme with a Freebie Demon using the BeSpoke Faun head again and the red skin I found at Shop n Hop. It’s that last part I want to focus on here, the skin is Amazing! The store Dae Boutique is new to me and I’m loving the quality and details on the skin, loving their prices too. I was amazed that their fullbody Evox skins were under $L500 each, I’d usually expect to pay twice that or more from some fantasy skin creators. I think it does a fabulous job of turning the BeSpoke Faun into Demon.

The Freebie Witch – Halloween 2024

I renamed an old account with the Last name “Witch”. However they didn’t have much of an inventory, let alone Halloween stuff, so I took them to Halloween Shop & Hop. With 0L balance I wanted to try and make a decent Witch avatar from the gifts and other free items. It was surprisingly easy using the FabFreel  chart that listed them all. By “not much” I mean they literally needed Everything including basic mesh body parts.

Since I intended to use the Free version of the Legacy mesh body(only because it’s free), that allowed me to narrow down clothing to items that would fit that body, I still ended up with too many outfits!

Trickier things were body parts like a mesh head, skin & hair. I only found a couple of stores offering these items on the list, a red skin & a green skin.

That left me with the final piece,a mesh head. Fortunately BeSpoke still has their Faun head out as a freebie. Also since I started this Freebie looks idea, BeSpoke have released FREE Hunan heads as a permanent freebie too. Since both those heads come with a skin too, I now had plenty to work with and decided to make a few avatar looks instead of just one. I’m going to spread those over a few posts because the credits list got insanely long!

Haunted Labyrinth – Halloween 2024

It’s that time of year when lot of spooky fun places appear all over the Second Life Grid. This being the first of however many I get around to visiting and writing about. This location is also a store hunt setting, although I didn’t participate in that, I’m here for the Spooky! I’ve pictured a few of the areas in this place, but there’s plenty more to be seen.
