[2019/10/07 10:52] Annabelle walks back to the cart after seeing the donkey to the stables for temporary lodging. On the way to the market people had stopped the cart looking to buy pumpkins from it, so only a few remained.
[2019/10/07 11:01] Misch: stirs in her rest glancing out the tavern window she sees someoe in thesquare
[2019/10/07 11:03] Misch: quickly ducks back from the window wondering whether to go and approach them
[2019/10/07 11:05] Naido: on her way back from her mysterious business, has decided to go by the market, in the chance she might meet some dinner... Summer has been very short and soon she may have to go back to sleep, therefore she might aswell enjoy her waking moments while she has the chance
[2019/10/07 11:12] Annabelle notices the woman with shimmering hair walk by and flashes her a smile. "Care for a pumpkin? They're going fast so get one while they last!"
[2019/10/07 11:15] Misch: watches the people in the square carefully she decides she's going to have to talk to someone at some point and slips off her stool, heading toward the tavern door
[2019/10/07 11:16] Misch: walks very slowly towards the people so as not to appear hostile
[2019/10/07 11:17] Misch: stands a short distance away and waits for them to notice her
[2019/10/07 11:19] Annabelle spots another potential customer and waves her over. "Come get them before they're gone, freshly harvested pumpkins!"
[2019/10/07 11:20] Naido notices being noticed and approaches the young lady. She looks fresh enough, she thinks, and perhaps she will do... not quite her first choice of nourishment usually, but we only live once and the exotic meal may prove enjoyable.... "Greetings, young lass. These pumpkins look quite tasty I must say... or must, to someone else."
[2019/10/07 11:23] Misch: smile nervously "yes they do, though I have little money to purchase with, I have been away so long" feels a little concerned at the hungry look in the speaker that she realises now is not human
[2019/10/07 11:26] Annabelle turns back to the fae, pointing out the carved pumpkin. "They're not only for eating, they make great decorations too!" Looking again to the other potential buyer, she cants her head slightly. "Well I could offer you a little discount, for being a first time buyer. And the little one there is cheaper than the others."
[2019/10/07 11:29] Naido: "I must confess, I feel much more interested in the provider than the merchandize. Who might you be, sweetheart ?" while making a sly move towards the damsel, she notices the other lady, giving off a slight predatory vibe. Comperetition ? she wonders... "Greetings also, milady." Her tone is a little colder but she still displays her best smile.
[2019/10/07 11:31] Misch: "That is generous of you, I appreciate that. However I'd first need somewhere to sit and prepare it, I need lodgings somewhere. I couldn't well sit in the street to carve and eat it." Addressing the other person she identifies as being Fae she replies "I am known as Misch"
[2019/10/07 11:37] Annabelle introduces herself with a little bow, facing roughly between them. "I'm Annabelle. And pleased to meet you Misch. I work at the farm these pumpkins were grown on." She gives Misch a once-over, sizing up her physique. "Maybe you could get on there too, if you don't mind doing some plowing now and again." She wasn't quite sure of the fae's intentions, so kept a few steps distance between them.
[2019/10/07 11:45] Naido is worried, from the reaction she induced, that she may have come on too strong. "Please do not fear me child, I only have the best intentions. But my original habitat is only decorated with live vegetal company and I would rather keep it this way." Observing the second woman with more attention, she is now putting her first impression into question. Who and what is her, really ? "Pleased to meet you Mish. May I ask you which type of living arrangements you are in search of ? I would be delighted to offer some help if only you were inclined to accept it ?"
[2019/10/07 11:51] Misch: Nods in appreciation "I'm sure I could help with that if the farm required an extra hand" having seen the womans appraising look she adds with a smile "I'm stronger than I may look". Hearing the Fae's words she smiles faintly "Anything simple is just fine until I get myself settled, idealy not something too light. Annabelle has suggested a place in exchange for some labour, dare I ask what your..assistance.. would require of me?"
[2019/10/07 11:57] Annabelle ponders what sort of deals could be made with this fae if pumpkins were off the table. "Only living plants? You know, if you're going to be here in about a week I could bring you some of the leftover fertilizer that's been sitting in the bins for a month. We'd gladly give you a discount on it." She then turns back to Misch. "Sounds like you'd be a great fit to tend the mushrooms. We keep that area extra dim to keep them from drying out."
[2019/10/07 12:04] Naido: takes a couple of steps towards the woman in black, trying to sense her while doubling her seductive efforts : "Oh nothing really... perhaps keep away potential troublemakers ? What Iwould have to offerwould not be much materially speaking : starry sky for a ceiling, the comfort of leaves as a bed, and not much as for food, depending on what your preferred sort would be. But spiritually, well... Everything you could ask for and more... Blissful completeness !" Turning back towards the human : "Sadly perhaps, the only thing I seek is company. I am provided more than comfortably when it comes to everything else."
[2019/10/07 12:12] Misch: "I could do mushrooms certainly, I have better night vision that most". Addressing the fae she replies "That sounds beautiful, however I've spent too long with leaf matresses and star ceilings to last me a human lifetime. I do require food too, so some time tending mushrooms is much more appealing. Adds with a direct look "your fae influence doesn't work so well on me, save your energy"
[2019/10/07 12:23] Naido: "Well, I suppose I must commend you for your frankness ? I may drop the charade, I suppose. Girls, I expect at least one of you knows what being truly hungry will make you do !" Saying this, she fails but notice the arrival of a new creature. "You wouldn't know by any chance where I would find a poor soul starving for promiscuity, would you ?"
[2019/10/07 12:32] Roselyin: Wasn't too happy about this, Her apron all blood stained with fresh blood, and poor girl did not have lunch yet! "Another day, Another idiot." she muttered as she headed toward he marketplace in hopes for a quick bite to eat. Also making a quick mental note to see if there was any seamstresses that knew how to make a Red Cross apron. It's becomming a pain in the ass to wash this one every day!
[2019/10/07 12:33] Annabelle busts up laughing at the fae's very direct question. "Well the tavern's an obvious choice, and maybe the docks. I mean, if you don't mind people that haven't bathed for half a month." Then the person at the nearby vegetable stand walks over to address her regarding the remaining pumpkins. "Looks like I might have a buyer after all, please excuse me while we discuss the details. And Misch, just stop by the farm if that's what you decide you want. I'll put in a good word for you." She gives the potential coworker directions to the farm and then steps over to discuss the business dealings with the vendor.

[2019/10/07 12:44] Misch: glances after the departing anabele and back to the Fae looks like I'll be helping farm mushrooms for a while, it was ...interesting crossing paths with you, can I ask your name?"
[2019/10/07 12:53] Roselyin: She stopped to get a sandwitch from one of the vendors and headed off.
[2019/10/07 12:54] Naido: "Translated in a way that can be grasped and pronounced by fleshy beings, it would be Naido. For some reason I seem to sense we have a little in common, you and I. Though truly, the specific kind of life source different creatures will need may vary, in the end we all owe our survival to the sacrifice of other forms of life, wouldn't you agree ? Perhaps the... foxy lady who just appeared may be able to help you in ways I may not. As for me, though glad I am to make your acquaintance, someone ho doesn't know it yet is expecting me at the docks I am afraid. Farewell !"
[2019/10/07 12:56] Misch: "very well Naido, good luck at the docks then" she glances at the directions annabelle gave her and heads off in the same direction and adds "Farewell" over her shoulder as she departs.
